The Maryland State Arts Council, through its Organizational Development Assistance (ODA) Program, offers FREE workshops to small, emerging and mid-sized organizations that produce or present arts activities. The ODA Program is designed to provide development, financial and management support services to non-profit organizations that present or produce arts programs and projects.

Eligible organizations (arts or non-arts) must be non-profit, incorporated in Maryland, and have an operating budget of $250,000 or less.

Sample workshops topics include: Boards A to Z; Marketing: Media Relations; Marketing: Special Events; Fundraising Strategies for Tough Economic Times; Financial Management; Starting a Non-Profit...Is it for You?; and Strategic Planning with Practical Implementation.

For more information, email Program Director Shirley Howard or call her at 410-767-6542.
