Direct Deposit

The Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Program allows grantees to have grant payments deposited directly into their accounts.

Grantees can establish a direct deposit account for the receipt of Maryland State Arts Council grants payments. This form of funding transfer eliminates the “lost in the mail” hard copy check and also expedites the transfer of funds to your account. In addition, by establishing a direct deposit account, you can monitor your payment online.

If you decide to participate in the EFT Program, all payments from the State of Maryland to you will be made through this account; you will not be able to request paper checks for any payments. MSAC will continue to send you grant forms to sign and return before payments can be authorized.

If you would like to receive all payments from the State of Maryland using the EFT program, you will need to download, complete, and submit the Vendor Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Registration Request Form.

Additional information about the EFT program can be found at the Comptroller of Maryland website.

You can monitor your EFT account online at the General Accounting Division's (GAD) Online Service Center.

If you have any questions or problems, email Christine Rose, MSAC's Fiscal Officer, or call her at 410-767-6551.
